Shen-yi Liao (廖顯禕), graduate student in the University of Michigan Department of Philosophy. My homepage, linked above, is a better source of professional information. My primary outlet for philosophical blogging is Go Grue!, the unofficial graduate student group blog of Michigan. When I remember, the philosophy posts will also be mirrored here.
This is my personal blog. It is mainly a litany of things that make me laugh, and occasional journals of my philosophy-related activities. It is probably not that interesting to you. But since my grandfather is a blogger, I feel somewhat compelled to keep up.
Lastly, about the name: I claim to be interested in all areas of philosophy that are not “core”. This claim is increasingly in need of qualifications and restrictions. Maybe you should check out my wishlist to see if it is true or not.

Hmm…that wishlist has a lot of core stuff on it for a crusty philosopher…I see some logic, and is that a fair amount of metaphysics hidden amid the mindreading?
(Hi Sam! Nice website)
